Social Development Department Minister Sisisi Tolashe has pledged her help and motivation to improving South African Social Security Company (SASSA) solutions during an engagement using the company's senior supervisors at a strategic arranging session in Cape Town.

Tolashe on Tuesday expressed her heartfelt congratulations to the numerous social grant beneficiaries, who excelled during the 2024 matric examinations.

Of the 724 156 full-time learners who registered for that National Senior Certification (NSC), 572 338 are social grant beneficiaries, representing eighty one% with the registered pupils from the training sector.

These learners attained a commendable pass rate of 86%.
